“Quick Martha, git the bibles! The non-believers are talking about Christmas!”
So, anybody who reads this blog, and happened upon my last post knows I currently don’t like the holiday season. The above is one of the reasons. I have tried to keep myself from discussing religion here, but a previous post opened up the flood gates of disdain I have for religious nuts, so this post may seem like nothing but one long insult.
First off, Christians bitching about non-believers trying to force them out of the public’s view can go fuck themselves. You’re hypocrites, and you know it. It’s the same damn thing you do when you try to force actual facts out of a public school’s curriculum in favor of ‘Magic Jesus Time’. You bitch and moan that Darwin was a quack but you want to teach children that god snapped his fingers, and created people, and that evolution is a myth.
It’s great that you want to give people something to believe in, but you’re going about all wrong. Stop being so damned anal about people who don’t believe in faith over fact. I hear claims of acceptance, but that’s a bunch of bull. Oppressing people and casting judgement is what you’re really doing. Seeing no problems with some middle aged man taking four underaged wives, but when two people of the same sex truly love eachother, the gloves are off, and you silly morons bitch and moan, and do everything in your power to stop it. Yet, when someone calls you on being bigoted little whiners, you scream oppression.
I feel sorry for the level headed people who share your religion, I truly do. I feel sorrier for your god. He has to watch his children be biased little brats because some nut claimed he spoke to him, and then spread word to a bunch of gullible people or those who desperately wanted something to believe in that those who worshiped this god would be saved. And then he went and wrote a buch of crap about how everyone except straight white christians was unworthy.
I’m tired of all this beat around the fence shit. Just come out and fucking say, “It’s my way, or the highway”. That’s what the bigoted, oppressive half of the christian population is really thinking. Why try to dress it up? Afraid you’ll look like mouth breating hateful pricks and cunts? You already do.
